It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anna Marie Barrett, who left this world at the age of 56, surrounded by the love that she so freely gave to others.
Anna was the devoted and loving wife of Chris Barrett, her partner in laughter, strength, and adventure. Together they shared countless beautiful memories, especially their cherished weekends at their trailer — sitting around bonfires, laughing late into the night with friends, and enjoying the simple joys of life side by side.
She was an incredible and proud mother to Jake Beaune (Kaitlynn) and Danielle Beaune (Duane). Her children were her greatest accomplishment and the center of her world. Anna’s love was steady, fierce, and unconditional — the kind of love that never wavers.
She is now reunited with her precious baby boy Joel, her loving parents, Bernice and Clifford Ford, and her brothers John and Tim, along with many other cherished family members who welcomed her home.
Anna was the strongest, most positive woman you could ever meet. Even a diagnosis of Ovarian cancer did not define her or stop her from living life on her terms. She faced every challenge with courage, grace, and determination. On her 56th birthday, she did exactly what she loved most — surrounded by everyone she loved, swimming in her pool, soaking up the sunshine and the laughter of her family. That is how she lived — fully, joyfully, and with her whole heart.
Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved her granddaughter Aria beyond measure and will forever be her guardian angel. She adored her three grandsons, Demarko, Asher, and sweet baby Oakley, each holding a special place in her heart. Her love for them was endless and pure.
On behalf of Anna and her family, we would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bergeron, the compassionate team at VON (especially Matt), and the incredible staff on 4W of the cancer unit at Met Hospital. Your care, kindness, and dignity meant more than words can express during her final journey.
In keeping with Anna’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of her beautiful life will be planned at a later date — a gathering filled with stories, laughter, and love, just as she would have wanted.
Anna’s strength, warmth, humor, and unwavering love will live on in all who knew her. Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful to have been loved by her.
She was our home, our safe place, and our greatest blessing. She will be missed beyond measure and loved beyond words — always.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Willy Stupnyckyj on February 21, 2026, at the age of 53.
Born on September 29, 1972, Willy was the beloved youngest son of the late Wasyl and Iwanna Stupnyckyj. He was a cherished brother to Lilian, Zenon, Orest, and Oleh, and a proud and adored uncle to Orysia, Anderson, Lauren, Adam, and Chelsy.
Willy was known for his silly grins, his incredible sense of humour, and the joy he brought to those around him. He had a deep love for swimming, listening to rap music—especially Eminem—and going out for meals. Taco Bell and ice cream were among his absolute favourites, and sharing those simple pleasures with others brought him great happiness.
Willy formed very special bonds with his fellow tenants and roommates at 2612 Layla—Ted, Elena, Paul, the late Kathy, and the late Truc—who were truly like family to him. Their friendships meant the world to him and filled his days with companionship and laughter.
Our family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to his devoted support workers—Rosie, Kelsey, Rebecca, Yen, Chris—and the entire team at 2612 Layla. Their outstanding love, care, and dedication provided Willy with the utmost respect and an exceptional quality of life. We will always be thankful for the compassion and dignity they showed him each and every day.
Willy will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the light, laughter, and love he brought into our lives.
