Passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024 at 103 years of age. Reunited with her late husband Basil (1998). Loving mother of Linda Kramer, Janis Kramer and Dan Kramer (Colleen). Dear grandmother of Brett Walker (Mary), Scott Walker (Kim), the late Kirk Williams (Nellia), Wendi Knudsen (George Rizok) and Mitch Kramer (Jennie). Precious great grandmother of Tyler, Stephanie, Megan, Bradley, Gavin, Karson, Ryan, Cole, Danica and Mabel. Predeceased by her parents George and Alexandra Gurr and her sibling Robert Gurr (Lee). Dear aunt of Kevin (Carol) and Paul (Mary) Gurr. Kathleen and her husband were the proud founders of Kramer Automotive in Windsor for many years. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor would be appreciated. Cremation to take place. A memorial visitation celebrating Kathleen’s life will be held on Wednesday May 8, 2024 from 4- 7 pm, at Families First 585 Sandwich Street South, Amherstburg. It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Larry from his earthly journey and now is free from pain and suffering on April 16, 2024 at the age of 79. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary Lou Serre for 39 wonderful years. Cherished and loving father to Patrick (Tara). Proud grandfather of Nathan and Olivia. Predeceased by his father Lawrence R. Serre (WWII 1944). He will also be missed by his furbaby Finnegan and good friend Ken. Larry was blessed with many loving family and friends. He was so proud of his accomplishment to be the #1 Real Estate Salesperson in Essex County in 1976. But his most cherished legacy was his family of whom he adored. His fun loving, happy-go-lucky nature and joy for life was infectious. He would like to thank all of his golf buddies for many years of fun and laughter. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He brightened the lives of all who knew him. He was a member of the 3rd and 4th degree Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent de Paul Society and also a member of RCL Branch 594 for over 35 years. If you so desire, donations to the Hospice of Windsor or the Windsor Essex County Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. On Saturday April 20, 2024 family and friends are invited to meet at St. John the Baptist Church, Amherstburg, for memorial visiting from 11 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 1 pm. A private family interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lasalle to take place on Tuesday.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother at the age of 94 on April 1, 2024 surrounded by her family. Cherished wife of the late Donald (2006), who has opened his arms to his dear Joan in heaven. Adored mother of Joe & Diane, Gary & Karen, Anna & Brian, Ron & Kim, Mike & Paula, Mary Lou & John, Annette & Mike and Dan & Cathy. Will be sadly missed by 21 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jack and Sharon Maitre. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Much loved sister in-law to Sr. Phyllis Paquette. A special thank you to the amazing staff at Richmond Terrace for all of their care and compassion. September 21, 1945 – March 29, 2024 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne on March 29, 2024 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Lynn (nee Brown) with whom he celebrated 55 years of marriage. Loving father of Tricia and Rick, Matt and Kate and Sarah and Bill. Wayne was predeceased by his daughter in law Brandy. He was a very proud Grandpa to Madison, Joshua, Jake, Christian, Loagan, Lilly, Emma and Leia. Wayne was predeceased by his parents Roy and Helen Peddie, his sister Sharon and brother in law Lyle, and in-laws Douglas and Dorothy Brown. Wayne will be dearly missed by his brother Gary and the late Debra Peddie, his sister Kathrine and Tony Zahaluk and his brother in law Wayne and Maureen Brown. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, many friends and his beloved dog Darby. Wayne retired from a long career at Ford Motor Company. He then went on to fulfill many various roles eventually travelling overseas to China, Germany and Turkey. He was an incredible wood worker and a jack of all trades. He was a man of many talents and proud of his accomplishments in life. Wayne was an avid golfer spending years playing in leagues and travelling South for golf trips. He enjoyed darts, watching sports, and racing enduro motorcycles through the bush in his younger days. His favorite place to be was the cottage at Old Woman’s River on Lake Huron. He first went when he and Lynn started dating and over the years they shared their love of it by inviting many friends and family to spend time up there with them. He spent many hours sailing in the bay, on the beach, or sitting on the porch looking out at the water with a beer in his hand. At Wayne’s request, cremation has taken place. The family is hosting an open house in celebration of Wayne’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion 594 (5030 Howard Avenue, Oldcastle, ON N9H 0M3) on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 2 - 5pm. The family wishes to thank everyone for your condolences and warm wishes of comfort.
